Enableism term I coined and my writing on it used by medical foundation

In 2019 I coined the term "enableism" to refer to the enablement of ableism. This term, a link to my writing on enableism, and credit given to me was published by Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson's for their work on Living with Parkinson's Meetup: September 2022: Ableism, Enableism, and Q&A.

Why Deaf Child

Being born a Hard of Hearing Deaf person, I know what it is like to figure things out yourself. Since I'm raised oral, people see me as not Deaf enough. Therefore they invalidate my rights for access, captions, and sign language.
